Coral Campopiano is a singer-songwriter and guitarist from Argentina who has resided in New York for 12 years, all the while playing in both Buenos Aires and New York. Coral, who recently performed her latest album Feel So Right at Argentina's Biggest Theatre, Teatro Colón, has released 7 albums of her own music.
Coral began her musical journey in the streets of Miami and has reaped much success from her music career, from live appearances on Telemundo’s Cristina Saralegui, Don Francisco, and Suegras, among others. Stars including Michael Jackson, Whoopi Goldberg, Patti Smith, and Angelina Jolie have been in Coral Campopiano ́s audience.
Coral was discovered during one of herperformances by one of the most coveted music producers in the music industry, Eric D, who introduced her to Jerry Blair, vice-president at Arista Records, with whom she ended up working for several years in the Big Apple. Subsequently she worked with Phil Ramone (John Coltrane, Quincy Jones) on the soundtrack for the film Kings of Sound Beach and recorded a tribute record for the band, The Embers, along with George Benson, Daryl Tookes, and Cuba Godoy.
Coral has performed and recorded with artists such as Joss Stone, John Legend, Beto Cuevas, Juanes, Bebel Gilberto, Julieta Venegas, Natalia Lafourcade, Joe Vasconcelos, Fito Páez, Soledad, Vicentico, Ratones Paranoicos, and Babasónicos, among others.
