NYC-based alt-pop artist Rachael Sage has steadily released a slew of vibrant, dynamic albums with poetic, image-rich lyrics spanning subjects as wide as her inspirations. A record-setting 22 of her songs have appeared on Lifetime’s “Dance Moms”, along with placements on MTV, HBO andCNN. Sage’s latest album MYOPIA is a bold departure, emphasizing her guitar playing over her usual piano palette. Featuring members of Bruce Springsteen, Patti Smith and Suzanne Vega’s bands, MYOPIA is cinematic and beautiful – a declaration of self-assurance and vision framed by musical ingenuity and emotional insight. MYOPIA was self-produced by Sage, mixed by Grammy® winner Andy Zulla, and will be released by ILS/Caroline/Universal on May 4, 2018.
Sage returns to Joe's Pub to celebrate "Myopia" with her longtime touring band The Sequins, featuring violinist Kelly Halloran (Tom Morello, Michael Franti) and drummer Andy Mac (Deni Bonet), plus special surprise guests!
